U2 reserves/promises play 3 matches with just Klaassen in the squad with another former Jong player Schenk , GAEagles left back included.

Finally at U19 with 2 games Acolaste (winger), Menig (striker), Tete (FB) plus Riedewald(a CD playing DM).Bazoer was included but dropped out injured.

the main event is tonight but yesterday Jong Oranje beat Georgia 6-0 in a Euro U 21 qualifier. Denswil and V d Hoorn were starters and Klaassen ,promoted at the last minute from the Promises /U20's came on as a sub. V d Hart and de Sa were unused and Ligeon has dropped out with an injured toe.

No Ajax in the promises/U20's so the only other age group is the U19's who beat Turkey 1-0 in a friendly with our own Elton Acolatse scoring the only goal. The lineup was not shown with Menig and Riedewald the only other Ajax in the squad. Tete joined Bazoer in dropping out with an injury.

Oranje is entertaining the crowd right now in the Amsterdam Arena. A 4-0 lead at half time with two goals by Robin van Persie, which makes 40 Oranje goals in total for him. Exact the same number as national team alltime goal scorer and assistent bondscoach Patrick Kluivert.

Cillessen and Blind both played well in the 0-2 win over Turkey. Dutch team defended well and were extremely strong in the air, something I've not seen in a long time (certainly not since Jaap Stam stopped playing).

Proper Oranje gets a break for a month but the U17's are playing 3 qualifiers for next years U17 Euro's over this next few days and 5 Ajax kids in the squad.
Yesterday a 4-0 win over Faroes with right back V Zweeden and attacking MF's Nouri and V d Beek all playing with V Zweeden and Nouri scoring . Not in action but in the squad are V Bladderen the goalie plus Ezra Walian a 15 year old striker who is top scorer in our A2's ie U19 2nd team this season and has already played for the main A1 u19's.

Over the next 3or 4 days they play San Marino and Georgia ,this being only the first qualifying round.

Dutch u17's just beat San Marino 12-0 and 15 year old Ezra Walian celebrated his first game at this level with 5 goals.
Nouri scored 1 goal and V d Beek also started with V Zweeden a sub.

I have been over this before but Nouri at 16 should already be under contract but Walian scores goals in just about every game and plays for our A2 U19 2nd team where he is top scorer already . I see he is 16 next Tuesday and Ajax need to sit him down next week and give him a contract. If we don't the top english clubs will try and get him.

Just a postscript to the above game Ezra Walian only played 40 mins for his 5 goals . U17's play 80 min games so if he had played all 80 mins he may have got double figures.

Final game today and Dutch U17 beat Georgia 1-0 to win their group.Next spring they play in the elite group to decide who goes to the finals.

V. Bladeren played in goal today and V d Beek, Nouri and Walian all played.

Ints soon come around , more in a couple of weeks time.The initial squads for the Full team, U21 ,U19 and U18 have been announced and although only Cillessen and Blind are in the full squad for 2 friendlies there are plenty of Ajax in the other squads which promises well for the future.

Jong or U21 play a Euro qualifier plus a friendly include Denswil Ligeon V d Hart , V d Hoorn ,Klaassen Veltman( Koppers sold in the summer and Lukoki loaned out both included plus ex Jong goalie of a couple of years ago Hahn now at Dordrecht)

Finally U18's play in a 4 nation tournement with A1 youths Groothuizen goalie, defenders Sanniez,Mirani,V Bruggen ,Owusu, midfielders Vissers and El Mahdioui plus A2 winger Clement.

Check him presenting a goal to Utrechts Cedric van der Gun after 12 seconds in above Youtube movie... you only have to take a quick look to conclude Stefano and Joël will become much better players. They already are much stronger and smarter.

I note Oranje's game v Japan on Saturday is in Belgium in Genk. Why are they playing this there and not in the Netherlands?

I read that they are flying to Maastricht, which is near Genk, but they are only based in Noordwijk so hardly needs a flight!

No flight required. They will go to Maastricht by bus tomorrow and then from Maastricht to Genk.

No idea why the game is in Belgium, but Japan is the official home team / organising country. So perhaps they think they will attract a lot of Japanese people who are living in Europe to visit this match in Genk.

A brief update of Ajax in the last 2 days.

U21 only drew 2-2 v Slovakia in their 2015 Euro champs group qualifier. V d Hoorn and Denswil played the whole game and Klaassen came on as a sub ( Lobotka played 10 mins for Slovakia)

U19's in their 2014 euros qualifying group only drew 0-0 with Wales but a draw v Georgia in Monday's final game will see them through to the next qualifying round.

Riedewald and Acolatse played the whole game and Bazoer came on as a sub.

Finally the U18 playing a 4 country tournement lost the 1st game 2-1 to Germany. All 6 Ajax started , Groothuizen in goal, the back 4 were Sanniez ,V Bruggen, Mirani,Owusu and winger Clement.
