Good news from our B1 they have just won their league. Following a great 4-0 win in Rotterdam v FW B1 last saturday they have just beaten Sparta 4-1 and won the league.

U15,U17 and U19 are the 3 main age groups so with our C1 winning the U15 league and now our B1 winning the U17 league thats 2 out of 3 so far . As posted previously our A1 still lead the U 19 league by 2 points with 2 games to go. They have no game this weekend so the break will do them good as their next league game is not until 5th May .

UEFA has a nice three part series on the youth academy: http://www.uefa.com/trainingground/gras ... g_features It certainly is more than 18 months old since de Boer is mentioned as the youth director and if you look at the clips, Anita has his old hairstyle and Vertonghen looks really a lot younger as well. Still it's worth looking at and the Cruyff clip is fun.

thanks for that I do believe it has been posted before. Last night we had 10 from our youth academy playing and 3 VVV players also came out of deToekomst ie Wildschut Timisela and Vorstermans.Mind the 3 VVV barely got the chance to touch the ball all night!!!

Yeah thanks Orange14. I'd not seen it before. It's that grassroots aspect of Ajax that makes makes the club extra special. Plus I've never heard 'de Toekomst' actually pronounced - now I know how!

Our A1 beat PSV A1 1-0 today ,Klaassen scored,and lead the table by 2 points from Fword A1 with just one game left next Saturday at De Graafschap . I think if the top 2 end up level on points they have a playoff so hope our A1 just win it outright next week

The Ajax D1 have won the Dutch title in their age category. Both Ajax and Feyenoord/Excelsior finished the league at 53 points, so a decisive head-to-head game was necessary. Ajax did it.

What an unbelievable season for the club: pretty much all of the 'first teams' (Ajax-1, Ajax A1, B1, C1, D1...) won their championships.

not sure there will be any sopcast streams but check out the site, copa-amsterdam .nl click on the link 'community' and it says copatv , could well be the games are going to be shown on youtube!

I doubt our star A1's will be in action. de Sa is injured ,Klaassen is out with exhaustion and Denswil did not get picked for Dutch u19's so he too may be injured. Nieuwpoort Sporkslede and Dijks plus Fischer with Denmark have all just played 3 full U19 games in a week so doubt they will be used much.In addition the best of our U17's wont play as the B1 ie U17 team play Sparta in the Super cup tomorrow.

So the likes of V d Hart and Leeuwenburgh in goal, El Hasnaoui,Lazic,Busse,de Bondt, all of these are now contracted , plus Schoop ,Gravenberch, Rosheuvel Fennich from our A1 squad will be in action .A2 youth players like Keskin,Kuipers,Martina who have all played for the A1's will also play.

I understand Ko is going along so will be interesting to read what he has to say.

Our A1 doing well so far having reached todays semis in the Copa Amsterdam

Beat Besiktas 3-0 de Bondt, Busse and Kuipers scored

Cape Town 1-0 El Hasnaoui scored

Panathinikos 3-0 Bartels 2, de Sa the goals.


We have 3 trialists Abba Mobara a defender from Cape town, Filipe Oliveira , midfielder from Leira Portugal and Hristijan Denkovski midfielder from Skopje Macedonia

de Sa playing again after a couple of months out but the other main A1 are not playing ie see my post above from 1st June. There was one B1 player involved ie Kenny Tete, and Becker is included in the semi squad today.

Our B1 U17's won the Super Cup 3-1 v Sparta yesterday with Becker 2,goals and Menig the other. Maybe Menig and Tete will be given contracts soon!!

Ajax lost their semi v Botofogo on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Ajax then finished 3rd by beating Cape Town 2-0 with Becker and trialist Denkovski the scorers. No details but El Hasnaoui was carried off with a bad injury .

Cruzeiro won the Copa Amsterdam beating Botofogo in the final.

Evidently El Hasnaoui's injury is not that bad which is good news for the lad who only signed a contract last week.

Our C1 U15 team are playing in Singapore Canon City Cup this week and their 1st game v Singapore U16 was on Eurosport 2 yesterday and we lost 2-1 with a very dodgy penalty against us ie a slight push as the ball went sailing over every one. Our goal was scored by a new boy Ezra Walians ,just signed from Az ,who looks a good striking prospect.Nouri the young midfielder looking good.
The other group game on Weds v Porto with semis on Friday and the final on Sunday.

No less than 8 youngsters will train with the main squad in De Lutte. Denswil, Veltman, Van der Hart and Klaassen join the A-squad; Fischer, Dijks, De Sa and Nieuwpoort on trial.
