Ah yes that great footbal impressario and successful Chairman Simon Jordon. Loved by so many and held in such high regard by his Championship colleagues. Not as if he has ever done any of his dirties in public eh?? I accept it could have been handled better but when two strong and talented ego's mee...

Pizza 5. A little vague me thinks in your rationale. Can you please put a slightly longer post in next time so that we can understand the background to your thinking. Also one point of correction, Rosales is not tall enough to be classed as a full dwarf.

I feel some disturbances in the force! You have some good players and if you play a more flexible team structure then you will achieve better results for sure. In this day and age you must be able to adapt. 3-5-2 can actually give you 5 defenders when under pressure so it not really a risk.Pizza 5 i...

Pizza 5 how wise you are and I applaud an original point well made. I believe we have a ready made replacement for Mr D Blind should the fateful day ever come. A manager who consistently plays to a formation rather than to the strengths of the individuals almost with a complete disregard for the dep...

Big rumour coming out of Old Trafford is that Ruud Van Nistelroy's knee is completely gone and will prevent any transfer as he could not possibly pass a rigorous medical. Completely unsubstantiated but would explain his loss of form at end of season.Only time will tell.

K, Well put and we too have had our share of poor managers over the years and despite the press, opposing fans and most decent peoples loathing of our current one he has been a revelation. Approaching 18 years at the helm he too was very nearly fired after 3 seasons despite a strong track record at ...

K, I think you have a good grasp of my original plot, however I am not as shallow as you may think despite my team of choice. I do feel that good managers have very limited time nowadays and very little latitude for error. I will watch Koeman's next appointment with interest and particularly how suc...

K.

I agree wholeheartedly with your comments ref Monsieur Roux.

Do you not feel though that the species you are referring to are becoming endangered due to fans like us, impatient for success and carrying at times unrealistic expectations?

SPL Must make you feel good that you share the same fate this season as us.

Trophyless!

Still maybe next season eh?[/quote]

I agree with K, you must now back the new coach and play tough. If their heart is not at ajax then you must cash in and take the money. It is the same at United with Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs, the club must set the agenda and not the players. Either they sign or they go. What ajax need now is som...

Pizza 5 is certainly famous. Famous for not buying his rounds, being wildly wrong with all of his forecasts and predications and for probably being the most unfortunate in the good looks department.

Rosales has been reported as having had problems making training lately. This is only because he has had problems with his car. The initial difficulties where that he could not reach the pedals, and then subsequently his shoes were to big to allow him to control one pedal at a time. More recently it...

SE6, Strange combination Blackpool and Ajax. Is it that they are both crap at present or is it just that you are addicted to the colour orange? I think Pizza 5 makes a very solid point about formation afterall, success does need a little strategy and organisation and good sides play a flexible syste...

No No I just feel you are not equiped in Europe or the Dutch league playing your current formation. Even 4-4-2 would be better than 4-3-3. You also look very unbalanced with a pantamine horse on one wing and a small person who is fired out of cannons on the other. Things must change and quickly. I a...

Chaps, perhaps it is time to drop some so called high profile players and blood more youngsters? Also worth considering a 3-5-2 formation as the current crop of players do not seem capable of playing to the formation and positions that they are being asked to perform to/in. Europe will be a hard tar...

K,

So let me get this straight.

You now have a blind coach and he is being fully supported by a grim man.

How the hell is this going to lead to total sexy football?

I note at least Blind played all the players in their natural positions against PSV. Does this now confirm that the issue is not so much the calibre of the coach but more the lack of talent and commitment at his disposal? Perhaps we should start a Koeman back campaign? Lets get in before Blind has t...

Martin Jol is your man.Well qualified and a good pedigree. He was being lined up as a number two at Man Utd prior to the Spurs job becoming available I think club politics may be an issue at Ajax as quite rightly will financial coniderations be coupled with the fact that he wants to be successful aw...

I'll take that response as a maybe then?Glad to hear you are not ruling the notion out completely. Martin Jol has tonight categorically ruled himself out of the running quoting that, " I am constantly being linked with a move back to Holland, this is the third time in recent times. I am very happy a...

An article in the Manchester Evening news last night indicates that paul bosvelt is leaving Manchester City this summer. How about Kevin Keegan as TD and Paul Bosvelt as head coach? They have lots of experience and at least they have worked together.

In order to get the best from one of your quality players, namely Rosales, surely you need a manager who can stand toe to toe and eyeball him on occasions. I would therefore suggest somebody well qualified but also extemely short would fit the bill. How about; 1-Diego Maradonna-Not only short but a ...
