He's their technical director, so I would expect him to be there... unless, of course, he decided to play possum pending his lawsuit. The public prosecutor has decided to officially throw the book at him for his drunk driving accident.

This is the third consecutive home game I'm going to miss. My wife is on a business trip to Barcelona and I couldn't get a baby-sitter. In all my years of following Ajax I've never missed three straight home games before.

Because we were playing a team with a defense last week.

FT 6-2.

That's more like it, although almost certainly too little, too late.

The real problem is that they probably won't back it up next week.

Exactly! We hammer Feyenoord, with our best performance of the season, play like shite against Roda, then score 6 against Sparta.

There are many problems is the squad this season, but consistency is high up on the list imo.

At the moment I don't think they're inconsistent... They consistently drop points in away games, and they win most of their home games. A very clear pattern.

The rest of the season is very predictable: yet to be played is a handful of away games against the best teams, plus a handful of home games against the weakest teams.

There is a more than fair chance that Ajax won't win a single away game anymore. And in between those away games they will 'take revenge' (?)? or 'make up for last week' by scoring five goals or so against a relegation candidate at the ArenA.

That's gonna be the pattern from now on - and it should be just enough to drop out of the top five, I reckon.

K.

Enjoyed the game , but just read Ko's comments and reminded myself of our fixtures

Home Excelsior Willem De Graf Heracles
Away NAC PSV Twente Heerenveen Groningen.

With our away record those are mighty tough games.
