... and the next league match.

Attention: this one has been made two hours earlier, from 14:30 to 12:30 CET. This has just been announced by the KNVB.

John Heitinga will be suspended for this one, due to accumulated yellow cards.

This is precisely the type of match in which we lost far too many points in November and December. Ajax: be warned and don't let it happen again.

K.

All this talk about youth who will play centre back. Maduro gone Heits suspended Colin injured , for the reserves this season Van Der Heijden has played there but is listed as injured with a toe injury.

For the Excelsior game we had Vito Wormgoor on the bench and he has played centre back for the reserves . Without Heits the defence looks even weaker but who knows !

Yeah I think this one could definitely be interesting with the problems in the back.

I think we can overcome it if come out with the same enthusiasm and urgency that we had with the return of Davids/Leonardo last weekend. I really think Davids in particular raises the level of play (as well as emotion) of those around him, which has been lacking all year with him injured.

I also think having Perez as attacking midfielder made a huge difference. This team hasn't (until perhaps the AZ game) found a way to adequately replace Sneijder. If Perez can play as he did against AZ, we won't have that concern anymore.

1:0 for NEC. I was expecting Lens and Bobson to give our awful defence a lot of problems but a long distance goal from lens was somewhat surprising.

Yeah well we're just going to have to try to score more than them I guess (duh). But at the moment we look TERRIBLE. No movement of any kind in attack.

Bobson spurns a chance for 2:0.

Are 'de nuls' clean sheets? If so the stat just went up that we've only had three all season. That's pretty bad...

It seriously looks like we're playing with seven men on the pitch -- there only seem to be four players on any Ajax attack, yet when NEC counter we're outnumbered 4-2...

I want to see Leo for Kennedy from the start of the second half!

The first half report contains good news and bad news. First the bad news: They are tearing us apart. The good news is that through some stroke of fortune we are only behind 0-1.

Maybe the second half will bring us relief.

Koster deserves to be smacked around the head for persisting with a 3 man midfield.

Leonardo fails to score from just 7 yards out.

Jesus. 1-1. We're lucky it's not 4-0.

Yeah, and it should have been 2:0 (how many times have I posted that) just seconds prior to KJH scoring.

Ooh that was marginal. Suarez has a goal ruled out for offside.

How embarrassing. Struggling to get a point agianst the #16 in the table. We didn't even look like we wanted to win.

The only good thing is that psv couldn't beat Venlo either. So the gap is stil 3 points..

More so for PSV who struggled to a 1:1 draw with a Venlo team who were reduced to playing with 10 men for almost an hour of play.

True.

Once again, by the way, the exact same thing went for Feyenoord and PSV...

Excelsior v Feyenoord 2-1
NEC v Ajax 1-1
VVV v PSV 1-1

Something's wrong in this league...
