The powers that be clearly know what's best for Ajax.

Our defence is utter crap and yet a lot of big teams want Steks, Heits Urby and Maduro. These consist the majority of our defence,plus defensive midfield. As part of a unit these guys are not good enough but will all be going to Italy Spain or England (although not to the very best of those countries)

The current squad are not good enough to win the league .Urby appears to be wanting away to earn money asap and Maduro does not want to commit beyond the next 6 months.I make this comment after half a season and not December's crap but IMO the only 2 players we have bought in from other clubs that are any good are KJH, of course, and Suarez, who is scoring a lot more goals than Babel.Gabri is Ok but the majority of those we have bought in are not fit to wear the Ajax shirt.

To have paid money, several million euros ,for Luque , who never played for Newcastle in 2years is a joke. We even paid several thousand euros for Colin, one of the worst purchases ever made!!
