I heard Urby is hoping to be fit for the 'Klassiek' against F'noord. Am I the only one that prefers Vertonghen to start instead. If you are reading this Urby, please fulfill your dream of playing for AS Roma, or should I say warming the bench.

And when he plays amazing at Roma, you'll hate him for not staying with Ajax longer. Bah.

Vertonghen really deserved his place on the pitch and i don't think, that Koster will put Urby instead of him. But i wouldn't mind to see Urby playing instead of Siem de Jong in midfield

I want to see our young, determined team out play the old guys from Rotterdam. :ajaxscarf.gif: :666.gif:

That's a good idea.

very nice article from uefa.com :

Not since the 2-0 win against Ajax on 17 November 1991 have they managed a shut-out against the Amsterdam outfit.

Since the departure of coach Henk ten Cate to Chelsea FC last month, Ajax have made good progress. His successor Adrie Koster witnessed a goalless draw in his first match in charge, after which his side have won against FC Utrecht, SC Heerenveen in the Dutch Cup and Roda JC 4-2 to move to the top of the table.

FWIW (and I can't access the link at work) the online sports book I looked at the other day had 010 as slight favories, with the draw being the most likely outcome.

I'd love a win, but with our current goal differential, a draw would be ok too. Particularly if PSV continue their free-fall this weekend against AZ.

Hup Ajax!

Lets put on a show. So excited about this one, especially that I finally, finally get to see it live.

Fword totally deserve half time lead.

1-0 down....that could have been 2-0 or 3-0 hate to say it but kakerlakken are dominating....

We need to turn things around in the second half :ajaxscarf.gif:

Halftime and only one goal down after a mediocre first half. We can bring this game back if we can get it together in the second half.

...and also the referee.

I think we had our best spell in the last two minutes or so but F-word totally deserve the lead.

Come on guys lets shake it up and get into them :666.gif:
