Yes, must be.. But me, as we are all are are so in bad mood, that i think nobody care about this match that much... Hope Suarez will not celebrate if he scores, he seems to be a good guy..
And i also hope that our players respect our jersey... we must win to get over this ...

I don't have any interest in this game. I just feel really sick and humiliated after the CL elimination. Even if I were in Amsterdam, I would not go to the Arena. Need a break.

Don't know if he'll start and if Ogararu will be available, but NO COLIN.

Stekk

Ogararu/VD Wiel Stam Vermaelen Urby

Gabri Heitinga Suarez

Kennedy Huntelaar Luque

Quote:
Fearing a backlash from the fans, Ajax's chief director, Maarten Fontein, published an open letter asking for solidarity while coach Ten Cate has also called for support from the public.

"As a coach you are always the black sheep," he said.

"I can imagine the disappointed fans. This is how it works in football, but I can only confirm the importance of the open letter by Maarten Fontein.

"All noses should be pointing in the same direction at this moment."

Winning this game is vital. We now have to focus on the title. Fword have a stronger squad but glad that PSV have lost Alex. And AZ still have the best coach in the country!

For all the ambition of owning Gronigen, I'd settle for an uncomplicated 2-1 win... .

I learnt my lesson after Prague. This is no longer GREAT and mighty Ajax. We're just another team. Even if we beat Gronigen 8-1, so what?? NO european football for another year... .

I agree with SPL.....we have to win this one....that's why I'm not going! I seem to be a jinx, so if they win today, God knows what I'm going to do with my ticket

According to ajax.nl Colin will be on the bench.

Line-up: Stekelenburg; Heitinga, Stam (c), Vermaelen, Emanuelson; Gabri, Luque, Maduro; Kennedy, Huntelaar, Suarez.

That´s what I´m talking about!! :hupajax.gif: :hupajax.gif:

It works. Crappy sound and solution. But since I'm starved for Ajax and football I'll still check it out.

This is a game we should, and will, win!

GO LADS!

Ajax seem to be playing well (I cant watch it though) no goals yet.

Glad to see Maduro fit, and Colin not in defense

EDIT: 1-0 Suarez, (I think). If so, did he celebrate..?

Suarez goal from a long range shot from right side of pitch .... celebration somewhat muted.

Suarez goal was a real stunner! Groningen should have gotten the 3 consecutive chances before tapping that goal! Again, poor box defending!
