Next Eredivisie game!

Roda away, 12:30 kick-off... That means: an early one.

Roda JC 1 - 0 Ajax

Any reason why Manu is not on the bench?

Sneijder shot comes off the post ..........

Babel close with attempt from the left ......

BUT - thats about all Ajax have achieved this half.

Roda have had about 5 decent attempts on goal .

Ajax have made very little impression in the first period.

Goal came from a quick freekick ..... Ajax central defence caught sleeping.

on a good note, at least urby played quite well in the second half

more importantly, ten cate's insistence on starting vermaelen has now officially begun to piss me off... enough already

Another match in which the team created nothing for Huntelaar. Our midfield had an off day which proved disasterous because our wingers were utter shit as usual.

What's worse is that they lost to abunch of southerners. I feel sexually harassed.

Babel has had his chance to impress as the left winger .......... as for Rosales :nooo: learn to cross the f*cking ball for f*ck sake.

Perez has to start on the left wing for the next game ......... as for the right wing

Bollocks to this.

What I can't understand is this:

1) they lost at Roda last season
2) they know that it is always difficult over there
3) IK Start demonstrated how vulnerable Ajax are if they don't give 100%, even against a crap team

Then why in the name of the Holy Cruyff were they so apathetic? I mean come on! Is it really that hard to just work your balls off for 90 minutes? Is it really that hard??

Pretty pissed off!

K.

Hi I'm new to the board, but a true ajax fan from Colombia, South America. I'm starting to get worried about the winger situation we are having. What is wrong with the old Rosales who tormented Feyenoord during the play-offs last season???? And vermaelen X'C also fantastic last season but a disaster so far this season. We have a fantastic team but something is wrong with their atittude.

Rosales played well against feyenerd because he had Bosschaart defending him.

Vermaelen is still with his head by the own goal against Kopenhagen.

One last comment about the game. Why is it that Ten Kate has no trust at all in Manu???

Inexperienced, injury-prone, maybe the language barrier not completely broken.

For some reason this defeat doesn't feel painful, perhaps because I KNOW we will be champions this season.

I'm gonna add one more question...why the hell does Ten Cate make the substitutions so late in the game, whats the use ??? I thought Perez and Krohn-Dehli improved the team when they came in, problem is that the game was already dead by that time.

Anyways, the damage is minnimum, we are still only a point out off first place ;)
