Two games - two wins!

Roll on the next one: at home to Vitesse!

Real tough game, and just for some info, my father is good friends with Hans de Mos, the cousin of Vitesse coach Aad de Mos. Perhaps we can negotiate olol.

It will be a tough one. Vitesse will strike back strongly this season. I saw them play against AZ, and they lost, but I was really impressed with them.

This is not going to be an easy one.

But first: some Euro 2008 qualifiers. I wouldn't even know whom Holland are playing (Luxembourg...?), so to me it will essentially feel like a weekend without football.

It could be a good idea to play with Rosenberg on the left, then KJH would get more chances to score, he needs it for confidence.

Yeah, I think that might be a good idea anyway.

Not too impressed with Babel, so far. Let's have Rosey (who scored for Sweden this week, so must be feeling okay).

Agreed  Rosenberg should get the nod. I could bet some good money on Sneijder scoring, i wonder what the celebration will be ??

Interesting you mention him...

A report just appeared on Ajax.nl saying that the Vitesse match comes a bit too early for both Mitea and Grygera, but those two are expected to be fit and eligible for the first IK Start game. Which is good news.

As for Sunday: I don't know, but somehow I have a feeling that we'll see someone else than Babel on the left wing. Rosenberg or Perez, probably (Manu would surprise me). But not Babel.

I doubt it. Ten Cate seems quite fond of Babel.

Ajax vs Vitesse will be shown on Setanta in North America, same day delayed. Please note that Ajax will publish a match report as soon as possible, quite probably before the Setanta broadcast. So, don't visit the Ajax USA homepage if you don't want to know the result and don't open e-mail notifications from Ajax USA if you are subscribed to them.

I will be observing "radio silence" from all things Ajax tomorrow so that my viewing pleasure (or displeasure) won't be disturbed. This Setanta deal is awesome.

KJH opens his Eredivisie account with a shot from attacking left into the top left of the Vitesse goal :headbang:

Roger to make it 2-0 before half time.

Vitesse have a poor defence.

Without a doubt this is looking like a comfortable win for Ajax.

I'm not convinced with Babel's performance, looks lazy. Not making many runs asking for the ball.
