No midweek games this upcoming week (no Ajax game anyway; there are international friendlies all over Europe). First league game after 'PSV' is Ajax vs FC Twente.

Right now nobody cares about this one....but we cant forget that this team has been playing well this season. It would be a shame to beat PSV and then sleepwalk in this game and loose.

Focus and no underestimation for this one is what we need.

PD: Let's beat PSV first though  then we'll worry about the reds.

So much for plan A  now we really need to bounce back quick, against this team.

Edgar Manucharyan is injured and he will probably miss the game. Ryan Babel also won't play. Despite of it, Ajax is still a favourite and I think that we'll win this match.

0-1 down at half-time, or as it says in Dutch "Rust" - perhaps that's a reflection on the Ajax team (in English).

After last weeks fun and games I'm not even going to try the online streaming!

Two home matches and only 1 point! MOST DISAPPOINTING!
Something's gotta change!

If they were saving themselves for Prague....they were wrong!! The Championship's the target this year!
Something's gotta change!

One out of six just aint enough!

It could have been worse Young Zijler could have scored (kicked out by us in the summer not considered good enough for our reserves. yes that is sarcasim)

Seriously a poor result. So far this season KJH has 4 league goals . On this form he is not going anywhere and talk of 25M euros is rather silly.Still he will start scoring soon we hope.

When he arrived, he couldn't stop scoring even though his ball control was crap! Surely that was a target for the powers that be!

His ball control is still crap nearly twelve months on! What the hell are they doing in training?

A formation change must be in the offing, especially as he, (KJH) gets no support in the middle!

The forward three are supposed to work as a unit, always one pulling into the middle!

Forget the "tactics" and let them play their natural games!

WILL PRAGUE BE WORTH IT???????

I found there was too much space between midfield and defense.

will we beat AZ, if we can't even beat Twente ?

Embarrassing indeed

the only positive thing is that we should easily beat the crap Sparta Praha, and thus gain confidence before playing AZ

We are having a terrible time trying too find good quality scoring chances, their is a lack of that last pass or cross too set up our players in front of goal. I still believe our fullbacks arent supporting the wingers enough.

PD: If i were Ten Cate i would switch Urby back too left back quick

From espnsoccernet.com:

Quote:
Ajax striker apologises over racial abuse of linesman

AMSTERDAM, Nov 26 (Reuters) - Ajax Amsterdam striker Kenneth Perez has apologised for racially abusing a linesman during the match against Twente Enschede last week.

'I regret what I said...Everyone who knows me, knows I am not a racist,' Perez told Talpa TV on Sunday, adding the incident happened in the heat of the moment.
...

Not very classy. I do find it strange how so many players who get caught giving racist comments come out with the "Everyone who knows me, knows I am not a racist." line. Well then, why did you say it?
